The Ten Commandments

As the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke and God answered in thunder. He called Moses to come to the top of the mountain.

And there God gave Moses Ten Commandments written on stone tablets to teach the people the good way to live. These are the Ten Commandments given by God.

I am the Lord thy God which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image.

Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Honor thy father and thy mother.

Thou shalt not kill.

Thou shalt not commit adultery without true love.

Thou shalt not steal.

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, nor any thing that

is thy neighbor's.
